Wouldn't you know? I would love to wrap gifts for customers. Thought about that as I was working at Kohls this year. Years ago, I worked for Wild Wings Gallery in Edina, and wrapped gifts at Christmas for customers. I loved the large wheel that the wrapping paper was on, giving you a clean cut when tearing off the paper. Nice easy boxes to place your gift into, making the gift that much easier. We completed our wrapping with a ribbon & a sticker!
So, yes, thought about that while working at Kohls in jewelry! No one asked, except on Monday (December 28) -- I had 2 separate people ask me if I would be able to wrap their gift, and I mentioned it to someone before the others had asked! Days of the old customer service aren't here anymore, are they? Wonder if any stores do really wrap gifts anymore -- at least for free???
My wrapping days of the 80's is gone! Miss those days.
